Mirone is now a quite large application soft. Though it is mostly written in the
highly compact Matlab language it has more than 100.000 code lines (or much more
if M_GMT is taken into account as well) and some 30.000 lines of C mex code. I don't deserv the credit for many
parts of Mione's ensemble so here follows a list of the major
(unvoluntear) outside contributers
- Paul Wessel & Walter Smith for the GMT code
- Frank Warmerdan for the GDAL library
- Maurice Tivey for the magnetic Parker direct and inverse code
- Mader for the swan fortran code
- Imamura for the tsu-n2 fortran code
- J.M. Miranda for "parsing" the swan and tsu-n2 codes into an
"understandable fortran" code (and me for a second parsing). The
error-cost function essential for Euler poles computations also came out of
his mind.
- Contributers to "Matlab Central" from which some nice ideas/codes where
adapted/pirated.
- José do Carvalho for his artistic/expressive Mirone's icon
